On the 9th of October 2014, Nigerian afro-pop superstar D’Banj delivered a special presentation on self-belief and ending global poverty at the World Bank Group organized-TEDx event in Washington D.C. tagged “Ending Poverty“.
The ONE.org ambassador & UN Ambassador for Peace in a speech titled “Believe In Yourself” spoke about his encounter with the organization, raising awareness for the cause, initiating a 2 million-strong petition asking all African governments to commit 10% of their annual national budgets to agriculture.
D’Banj also spoke on the role African youths can play in eradicating poverty globally. In closing, he performed his 2012 hit single “Top of the World“.
