The three elements a fire needs to ignite: heat, fuel, and an oxygen. These are agent. If any one element absent there is no fire.
The combination of Baking soda and vinegar it forms carbon dioxide. Baking soda is a bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and vinegar is an acetic acid (HCH3COO). One of the products this reaction creates is carbon dioxide.
Carbon dioxide has one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms, and a molecular weight of 44 grams per mole. The oxygen in the air is actually O2, or molecular oxygen, with a molecular weight of 32. Hence, carbon dioxide has a higher density, or is heavier than oxygen.
carbon dioxide pushes air out so fire off, because one of the element (Oxygen) absent.
