Sugar 150g (¾ cup)
Butter 150g (⅔ cup)
3 Eggs
Plain Flour 200g (1 ⅓ cups)
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Almond essence ½ teaspoon (optional)
Lemon zest 1 teaspoon
Whole Glazed Cherries 200g (1 cup)

Icing Drip:
Powdered Sugar 100g (½ cup)
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Milk 1 tablespoon

Measuring cup size - 240ml
Baking pan 21x11x6 cm (2 Lb)

Bake in a preheated oven at 170c (338f) for 55-60 minutes
