Ever since I purchased my first Phalaenopsis bellina, I started to be more and more interested in Phalaenopsis species. So, a few months later, here I have a mini collection of species!

My collection is still small, but includes some really nice species that I really like, flower wise and bloom season wise. The first is the Phalaenopsis bellina, which is one of the most popular species in the orchid hobby, due to her wonderful fragrance.
I also have a primary hybrid between two species, the Phal. hieroglyphica x mariae which I purchased recently. It has started to develop buds so we will have flowers to show soon!
I also received some species from my wonderful viewers, these are the manii black, fasciata and sumatrana. they are all bouncing back after a long transport.
Phalaenopsis cornu cervi var. chattaladae is a new comer as well, she is acclimating nicely, however the tetraspis C1 is still concerning.
The Phal. bellina Red Apple is an orchid identified myself, so we are not sure this is the real name. It is very similar to bellina and I purchased her as a seedling. there is one more orchid that doesn't appear here, she is isolated due to a spider mite infestation :(
If you want to include the Sedirea japonica, since it has been reclassified as a Phalaenopsis, I have 2 of them for a while now, they are producing new leaves with no more pitting.
