What is a C100 form? Why do I need to go to mediation?

So they may want to consider going to mediation. If one party doesn't want to attend mediation or if by going to mediation they still can't reach an agreement then they may want to consider instructing a solicitor to set out their proposals. If an agreement still can't be reached then they may want to consider making an application to the court. To make an application to the court you must first of all have gone to mediation, that's in most cases unless it's an urgent or emergency application to the court.
So to make an application for a Child Arrangements Order you would need to complete a C100 form. If you are making any allegations of harm so there has been: physical, emotional, psychological abuse you would also complete a supplemental form called a C1A form and you'd set out your reasons for believing that there's been harm to the child, within that form too.
