STORYLINE:
A 12-year-old Palestinian boy has been shot dead in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Abdel Salam Fawzy Hamayel was walking outside his house during an Israeli-imposed curfew on Thursday when he was shot four times in the chest. His family's house, near the Amari refugee camp, is near an Israeli military base.
Ramallah has been under curfew since Sunday and it isn't yet clear whether the child's funeral will take place on Thursday, or whether it will have to be postponed.
In Nablus, hundreds of school children marched in protest against the curfew. The children called on the Israeli army to ease the restrictions and to allow them to go to school.
Meanwhile, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat met a Church of England delegation led by the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey.
