Before I receive any questions, I would like to address the fact that this video was taken in May of 2016. I just decided to upload it becuase I want to look back at my first 'real travel' experience and share it with you. By 'real', I mean a trip I booked, planned, and paid for on my own.
This makes me nostalgic becuase I had made it a goal to travel as soon as I graduated high school. I wasn't quite sure in which direction I wanted to go so I took a 4 month break. Then I worked an incredibly miserable job 7 days a week for 5 months. After thinking it over and over... I told my parents I wanted to visit Puerto Rico on my own. But 2 weeks before leaving my parents couldnt bare to let me go and so I had the pleasure to take my mom with me!
I worked to the very last minute, and 5 hours later I was on my way to the end of the U.S. This beautiful island is what started the 'beginning to my end.' At 18, I took a dive and since then I haven't stopped swimming in the wonders of this world.
