Freediving the Niagara II shipwreck under ice was on our minds for a while. Andrew Ryzebol and Geoff Coombs set out on an expedition to accomplish a goal they had set three years ago, to freedive the Niagara II under ice. After two unsuccessful attempts to locate the wreck in 2019, and a poor ice season in 2020, they finally became the first to dive (scuba or freedive) the Niagara 2 under ice. This is the footage from the first dive on the wreck. Lilly Ryzebol joined them on the second day to also enjoy this amazing shipwreck under the ice.
