Flying the R44 in Moderate Turbulence - Robinson R44 Helicopter

Experiencing turbulence in the Robinson R44 on a helicopter charter from Lake Macquarie Airport to the Hunter Valley visiting Ivanhoe Wines and Bimbadgen Estate.

Flying the R44 I've had the fun of getting into some average weather. The R44 can handle quite a lot but it comes down to passenger comfort!

On a day like today, slow the machine down, keep the fuel level high to weigh the machine down and keep the weight on the blades.

With over 1700 hours in the R44 I felt pretty confident being in these conditions.
