HARRISON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police believe they've solved more than one bank robbery with the arrest of two men.
The Cheviot Savings Bank in Harrison was held up Wednesday, August 27 just before noon. A witness gave police a description of a getaway car and a police officer stopped it five minutes later on I-74.
Officers took Jeremiah Kellems and Curtis Sims into custody. Both men are now charged with the crime.
Kellems will face charges for holding up the US Bank on Ludlow Avenue July 30. He was accused of writing the note that another man, Evan Stewart, used to rob the bank. Kellems and Stewart were also charged with the robbery of a Fifth Third Bank in Forest Park two days earlier. Surveillance pictures showed a man showing a note to the teller.
Both Sims and Kellum were wanted in Kenton County for other crimes.
