Inside India, roughly 87 lakh forest dependent people fear eviction from their land. This is after the Forest Rights Act came into force in 2006 to give them their right to live and cultivate on their forest land. They are protesting widely across the country for their rights. But all of this may go unnoticed because its victims are adivasis.
