What’s happening in this Elysium movie clip?
With Julio (Diego Luna from Flatliners) and Spider's men, Max (Matt Damon from the Jason Bourne saga and Good Will Hunting) shoots down Carlyle's (William Fichtner from Prison Break) ship. In the firefight with Carlyle's security droids, Carlyle dies. Max downloads the program to his suit's neural implant but the encryption makes it unusable.

What’s the Elysium movie about?
In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster from The Silence of the Lambs and Inside Man) will stop at nothing to preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium – but that doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. Max (Matt Damon from the Jason Bourne saga and Good Will Hunting) agrees to take on a life-threatening mission, one that could bring equality to these polarized worlds.
They both vowed to preserve the pampered lifestyle of Elysium's citizens, no matter what the cost.
