SALOMON ULTRA GLIDE 2 first run and first impressions review. The new Salomon Ultra Glide 2 trail running shoe was one of the updates in 2023 I was looking forward to testing out. I was a big fan of the original version and I really think that shoe helped to put Salomon back on the trail running map. The fit was great on my foot shape and I enjoyed the level of cushioning in the midsole. However, there were a few things I thought could be improved, one of them being the poorly placed lace pocket on my the tongue! Let's see what changes have been made.
