Learn to dehydrate onions at home. Some dehydrators may work at a faster or slower rate than the ones shown in this video. Be sure to follow the recommendations of the manufacture of your dehydrator. Dehydrated onions will reconstitute when put in boiling water and can be used for soups and stews. Dehydrated onions can also be ground into onion powder as well.
