A little bit about the book, Aesop’s Fables is a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and storyteller believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 B.C. The particular translation being used is “Aesop’s Fables: A New Translation” by V.S. Vernon Jones made in 1912.
