I did an actual real world range test in extreme conditions to see if The new HIghland Model 3 performance to live up to the 303 miles of EPA range. I ran the AC on high all day at temps were between 90 and 110 degrees and drive the car for a mix of mostly highway miles with some city and country driving. I made about 15 stops on the Trip throughout the day with 2 passengers for almost the entire drive. I began the test with 99% state of charge and ran the car down to 2%. I also wasted 2% by accident by leaving the climate control running for 75 minutes while I shopped at REI.
