Today we'll be taking a quick look at the CURT custom wiring adapter for trailer brake controllers. This is going to be an easy way to connect up your brake controller from CURT. If you have the 2019 GMC Sierra or the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.There'll be a plug underneath your dash on the driver's side just to the left of your gas pedal and to the right of your emergency brake or your parking brake. It should be taped up to some other wiring and then you can pull off that tape. Connect it up with the plug that matches with this one. Plug that in place, run the rest of the cable over to where you have your brake controller mounted and plug that black plug into your brake controller itself.Again, this is designed to work with CURT brake controllers and it will not work on controllers with a pigtail wiring harness, but we don't have to worry about any cutting or splicing by using this it's going to make it really quick and easy to get our brake controller installed on our truck.

The wiring is two feet long, has 12 gauge wires with this nice wire loom to keep it all protected. Comes with just a couple of zip ties to help keep it out of the way. You want to make sure that you run this out of the way of anything moving, like you're steering column or your brake pedals.That's going to make it really easy.
