Recipe:
Stew Red Beans
-1 medium onion
-2 garlic cloves
1 hot pepper
¼ cup ketchup
2 tbsp oil
2 Tbsp of golden ray butter (optional)
1 lb red bean soaked 5 hours and drain
½ tsp of black pepper
1. Place soaked red beans into pressure cooker for 20 min on high setting. Skip step if using canned red beans
2. Chop onion, garlic, and hot pepper
3. In a pan, add tbsp of oil and and ¼ cup of ketchup and stir
4. Add the chopped onion, garlic and hot pepper. Cook for 5 minutes
5. Add the red beans (including liquid from pressure cooker).
6. Add 2 Tbsp of golden ray butter (optional)
7. Add ½ tsp of black pepper
8. Cover and cook for 10 min
Stew Fish
-3 leaves Bandania
- 2 green onion stems
-dill
- cilantro
- ¼ cup of water
-1 medium onion
-1 hot pepper
- ¼ cup ketchen
-2 small bell pepper
-1 tomatoe
-1 tsp of salt
- 2 lb of fish
-1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup vegetable oil. + 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp of golden ray butter (optional)
1. Blend bandania, green onion, dill, and cilantro with ¼ cup of water.
-2. Mix raw fish with blended mix, tomatoes, onion, and garlic, 1tsp of salt.
3. Coat the seasoned fish into flour and fry in 1 cup of oil. Fry for 2 minutes of each side on medium heat. (save the seasoning for later)
4. Pour 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil in a large saucer. Pour in ¼ cup of ketchup into hot oil. Fry for 2 minutes
5. Pour left over seasoning into pan and cover pan and cook 3 min.
6. Add fried fish and bell peppers.
7. cook covered for 10 minutes
8. Done
