This new drug could be a great option for women who are not candidates for hormone replacement therapy. My concern is that this drug will be marketed to women who would benefit greatly from estrogen. 
For women who don't have an estrogen-positive cancer or other contraindication, estradiol (ovarian estrogen) is the best treatment for hot flashes, night sweats, and all the other symptoms of menopause. It also supports the health of every single organ and system in the female body.
