Teenage jockey and British Muslim Khadijah Mellah from Peckham, London, created history at Goodwood Racecourse, winning the 2019 Magnolia Cup aboard Haverland for Charlie Fellowes.
A member of the Ebony Horse Club, Brixton, she hadn't ridden a racehorse until two months prior to the race, but through hard work and determination she achieved her dreams. Khadijah is the star of the ITV documentary Riding A Dream, produced by broadcaster Oli Bell.
