Alan Scarfe, the renowned British-Canadian actor, known for his memorable villainous roles in Double Impact and Lethal Weapon III, as well as his portrayal of Dr. Bradley Talmadge on the sci-fi series Seven Days, has passed away at the age of 77. Scarfe surrendered to colon cancer on April 28 at his home in Longueuil, Quebec, surrounded by his loved ones.
Throughout his prolific career, Scarfe made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, notably in various Star Trek roles such as Tokath, Admiral Mendak in The Next Generation, and Magistrate Augris in Voyager.
Born in England and raised in Vancouver, Scarfe honed his craft at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and later became the associate director of the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. He spent two decades performing in theatres across Europe, the US, and Canada, including eight seasons at the Stratford Festival and two at the Shaw Festival.
