Hello,
I Can't believe I am posting a CHRISTMAS video right now! Like I mentioned in the beginning of the video Canada Post (And I'm assuming other countries as well) are asking everyone to do their christmas shopping now so that they ensure they can get it to you on time. I know here the mail is still a bit slow due to restrictions so I cant even imagine it in December when everyone is online shopping. Malls and stores have already released their Christmas product to avoid large crowds in December. So i figured to give everyone plenty of time I created this Gift guide! I tried to take it back to a time where people appreciated small gifts and actually kept them forever as opposed to a random sweater you saw at the a mall to check someone off your list. I've been guilty of this for years, I've bought items for people knowing they will like, but without much emotional meaning. I've also asked for things in previous years simple because I saw them at the mall the week before and it wasn't very thought out. It was about 2 years ago that I looked through mt grandmas photo album and I found the photo she gifted my grandfather for valentines day that I realized how sad "meaningless" gift are I would much rather have something I know I will hang on to forever. I also got a reminder of that when watching Anne with an E, Marilla has her Brooch and Mathew has this pocket watch, that were passed down and were precious items for them. Those are the kind of gifts I want to give, something I can treasure forever (Maybe even pass them down!) I don't know hopefully This makes sense and you area able to understand what I am trying to say. I hope you guys enjoy this video and that you tune in for "Vintage gift guide for him" later this week !
Thank you
Carolina
