A fireplace is a wonderful thing, but sadly the chimney has to be taken down in Ivy Cottage. There is quite a bit of damage to it, and the way it has been added to over the years, it has really encroached on the sitting room. Taking apart piece by piece is like looking back in time though, and now that it is done I can work toward a really energy efficient home.
