John shows you how to make Gramma's Lemon Cookies -- always a family favorite.

RECIPE:
Cookie ingredients:
5 cups flour
6 tsps. baking powder
6 large eggs, beaten with amixer
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
Dash of salt
Juilce from 1 lemon and rind of 2 - grated

Directions:
Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Roll out in strips (ropes) and form cookies. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Don't overbake! When the cookies start to color, remove from the oven.

Frosting Ingredients:
1 cup confectionery sugar
Juice 1 lemon
1 tbsp water

Mix ingredients until the frosting is thick enough for you to frost with a pastry brush. You may need to add a little more water or sugar.

Makes 6 dozen.
