On the evening of Wednesday 6th March 2013 at Newport (Essex), we first see the 19:21 Cross Country Stansted to Birmingham service pass through, followed by the late-runnning 18:13 Greater Anglia Liverpool Street to Cambridge service, which arrives with the leading carriage removed from public use - perhaps the reason for the train arriving twenty-five minutes late.
For the record, the Cross Country service was formed by a two-coach class 170 DMU and the Cambridge train was an eight-coach class 317 EMU.
