The three days of darkness prophecy is false. So here's some major red flags that show me that this prophecy is not true. Number one is that it promotes fear and superstition and does not promote intimacy with Jesus. Essentially, people are being told that if they buy blessed candles, special matches, certain candle holders, and even salt from Jerusalem, that they're going to be protected from these demons. But 2nd Corinthians 10:4, says "the weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." So even if the three days of darkness were real boarding up, your windows is not going to help because demons can travel through walls, and candles and crucifixes don't fight demons. Even though it looks like that in the movies. I would strongly encourage you to read and meditate on Psalms 91. That Psalm talks about real protection from God, through our intimacy, with Him, in the place of prayer. It's not about getting external objects to try to protect ourselves because they don't work.
