Onyx is a BIG, jet black half Friesian and a quarter Dutch Harness and Standardbred. Only a 3 year old, he is an honest 18 hands with long legs and a ground covering stride. A gentle giant that has the looks of a European warmblood, he will stand to be mounted from the block and rides both Western and English.


Onyx will walk, trot and canter and picks up leads. He has also been trained to drive in a carriage and well as trail ride. On trail rides, he will willingly step through creeks, over logs and up and down hills. Onyx is traffic safe, sound and loads willingly on the trailer. Good with other horses and has excellent barn manners. He's a horse that nearly everyone can ride (as long as you can get on him!)
