The infamous joystick/keyboard killer from the 1980s - my dad actually broke the keyboard membrane on our rubber keyed ZX Spectrum 48k whilst attempting one of his infamous javelin 'off the screen' world record throws.

Released in late 1984 to cash in on Daley Thompson's amazing gold in the decathlon at the Los Angeles Olympics, this game went on to sell an absolute shed load on the home computers in the UK (it was the best selling Spectrum game during Q4 of 1984). A sequel, Daley Thompson's Super-Test, was released in 1985.

This is just a quick play through of both days (all ten events) - I'm no expert or anything, this is literally the first time I've played it in over 30 years! You can loop the days until you run out of lives (you get 3 for each day). I just did a quick run through on day one, and then tried to loop day two, but I fell at the first hurdle (literally) on the 3rd loop.

Great fun - keyboard is still intact.
