Walking through Parque Sabaneta as most people are just hanging out.

Parque Sabaneta is one of the coolest parks in the Medellín metropolitan area. Sabaneta is a municipality just south of Medellín and Envigado. Sabaneta is the smallest municipality in Colombia, covering only 15 square kilometers.

Parque Sabaneta is the social hub of Sabaneta. The park itself is a cobblestone square with the Parroquia Santa Ana (built between 1896 and 1930) dominating one side and restaurants and bars surrounding the other sides.

You often see families, friends, and couples congregate in the park itself,
sitting on the ringed bricks. The bars and restaurants are usually crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Parque Sabaneta is also famous for its Christmas displays during December.
