A northern Tasmanian court has heard the violent death of a Burnie man two years ago was motivated by revenge.
Five people stand accused of murdering the 23 year-old by bashing him and chopping him with a large sword.
Court heard the alleged murder victim had his leg cut with a sword in an attack triggered by Snapchat message sent to wrong person.
