A historical spin on today's elections and voting process.
The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion will host a virtual discussion where Rockland Community College faculty members will address the right to vote, increasing voter participation, voting during a pandemic, the peaceful transfer of power, and related matters in the context of the 2020 presidential election and historically. Dr. Michael Baston, President, served as moderator, and panelists included:Dr. David Lucander, Associate Professor, School of Education and Social Sciences; Professor Konstadinos Ritsatos, Instructor, School of Arts and Humanities; and, Dr. Christina Stern, Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Humanities.
