Junior Nevison helps Matt Litwin and Dave Conwill from Hemmings Classic Car in the Hemmings Garage as the trio revive the museum’s 1940 Buick Century 61-C sport phaeton.

Before the Buick goes on a 400-mile road trip to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing’s Hot Rod Annual at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, they have their work cut out for them.


With the help of Hemmings Garage partners as well as Buick specialists found in Hemmings Motor News, the guys swap out the broken transmission and replace a destroyed brake drum. When the repairs are done, a test-drive reveals an added problem Junior will have to tackle in Buick part 2 of Hemmings Garage presented by POR-15.


While plans include a Hemmings Auction to make space for other classics we intend on buying, we need to get to Pennsylvania first.
