Hydraulic Bulkhead Fittings
When a hydraulic hose, pipe, or instrumentation tubing needs to pass through a tank wall, panel, steel plate, or other bulkhead, it is necessary to employ hydraulic bulkhead fittings, sometimes referred to as tank adapters. Their design allows for leak free joining of two hoses or tubes in a fluid system, just as with other hydraulic fittings. The capacity to pass hydraulic hose through any barrier, frequently from inside a pressurized vessel or tank, out to normal atmospheric conditions, and connecting to other parts of the hydraulic system, is what makes them special.
