A combined video here showing trains and Trams (starting at 2:08) in Ashton under Lyne, a large former milltown east of Manchester.
The railway station is served by trains currently running a Southport to Stalybridge service, which run hourly and is provided by Northern Rail.
The Manchester Metrolink came in 2013 and services link to the city centre and Media City UK, with Eccles being the final destination for most of them. The video was filmed just outside of Ashton West tram stop.
