After José Abreu’s homer, Josh Harrison hit a double to make it on base and scored the next at-bat when Leury García hit a line drive to right field. Seby Zavala hit a ground-rule double to bring Leury García home, giving the White Sox a 3-1 lead heading into the 3rd inning.
Eloy Jiménez hit his 5th home run of the year in the bottom of the 7th inning to add an insurance run for the White Sox.
Joe Kelly and Kendall Graveman each contributed a scoreless inning of pitching to keep the White Sox lead. Liam Hendriks closed out the game, securing a White Sox victory and earning his 20th save of the season.
