The town of Hanley, in Stoke-on-Trent, is one that holds much potential and history, yet the investment into this town is being spent in all the wrong places.
Derelict buildings, struggling businesses and poor transport links are just a few of the things that are causing Hanley to become a ghost town.
It’s time to invest in the future of this city, uncovering its hidden potential and breathing life back into its rich culture and heritage. We need to work together to make this happen.
Our council needs to realise that we don't want more car parks, more hotels and more paving slabs. We want real investment, real funding to help businesses, to restore buildings, to get people into the buildings that are sitting empty.
What do you think would help Hanley to be the thriving city centre that it used to be?
