World's 1st desert railway line completed in China #Shorts
On September 27, the entire Heruo railway was laidand connected in XInjiang, China, marking the formal "closed loop" of the railway line around the Taklimakan Desert. With a total length of over 825km, it's a national key construction project. The Heruo railway is expected to be put into operation in June 2022.
