Cambodia has just made a splash in the world of dragon boat racing by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest dragon boat in existence. Standing at a whopping 87.3 meters in length, this wooden masterpiece was built over the course of six months by the Union of Youth Federation of Cambodia in Prey Veng province, and it didn't come cheap - the boat cost a cool $60,000 to construct. But it's not just its size that sets it apart - the boat can hold an impressive 179 oarsmen and is a whopping 1.94 meters wide. Guinness World Records adjudicator Pravin Patel was on hand to officially certify the record, and the boat will be on display at the Water Festival in Phnom Penh before being returned to its home at Prey Veng Provincial Hall.
