Day 3 Itinerary: Full Day Tour to Tsaghkadzor, Lake Sevan & Dilijan (ARMENIA)
📌Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort.
Enjoy a scenic ropeway ride.
Leisure time to explore the resort. And We embarked on an exhilarating quad bike ride up the mountain slopes of Tsaghkadzor, reaching heights where the air was crisp with anticipation. At the summit, we marvelled at the snow-capped peaks and embraced the thrill of being above it all, suspended by the ropeway's majestic ascent. (Approx. 2 hours)
📌Late Morning to Early Afternoon:
Continue the journey to Lake Sevan, one of the world's largest high-mountainous freshwater lakes.
Lunch at a recommended food court by Lake Sevan, enjoying local cuisine.
📌Afternoon:
Visit Sevanavank, a 9th-century monastery complex situated on a peninsula.
Explore the monastery and leisure time at the lakeside beach.
📌Late Afternoon:
Proceed to Dilijan, often called Armenian Switzerland.
Visit the picturesque 10th-century church in the forest.
Explore the charming village and visit Goshavank Monastery.
📌Evening:
Return to Yerevan.
📌Late evening:
we visited the enchanting Blue Mosque, its serene beauty illuminated by soft, golden lights. Afterwards, we made our way to Yerevan's largest supermarket, in search of Armenia's famed Jermukh carbonated water, known for its crisp taste. Alongside, we couldn't resist picking up traditional Armenian lavash bread, thin and flavourful, perfect for pairing with local cheeses and fresh vegetables. Back at our table, as we enjoyed this simple yet delicious dinner, the blend of flavours and the ambiance of Yerevan's evening filled us with a sense of contentment and appreciation for Armenian cuisine and culture.
