Three violent attacks across Europe happened overnight on December 19. Russia's ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, was shot dead while delivering a speech at an art gallery in Turkey's capital, Ankara. In Germany, a lorry ploughed into a crowded Christmas market in Berlin, killing at least 12 people and injuring nearly 50. And in Switzerland, a man stormed a Zurich mosque and opened fire, injuring three people. Are these attacks a symptom of a bigger problem? Can Europe stand up to more attacks? We try and get answers from Cui Hongjian of the China Institute of International Studies; Professor Selcuk Colakoglu from the Turkish Foreign Ministry; and Dmitry Babich, a political analyst from Russia's Sputnik International News Agency.
