Original airdate: 2-17-57
It's evening during a desert rainstorm when Ellen and Steve Winters pull into a small service station to refuel. They are warned about flash floods in the area by the station attendants, yet forge ahead into the darkness. The following automobile accident and its harrowing aftermath drastically affect the lives of the couple in this powerful suspense drama.
When Steve and Ellie Winters (played by John Newland and Loretta Young) become trapped in their wrecked Lincoln convertible they discover that the very people who they think are inferior to them are actually much superior!
