How’s the Triumph Scrambler 400X in the city? Three things to consider.
First, the Scrambler’s engine is quite flexible so it doesn’t require you to rev the engine out to access all the power. Which means you can stick it in second or third gear in the city and adjust the throttle to make quick progress whilst keeping fatigue at bay.
Second, the tall seat height and the lack of any bodywork around the handlebar or headlight means you’ve got an unrestricted view of the traffic ahead. That makes it super easy to spot gaps, or obstacles, well in advance. Add the wide handlebar to the mix and you have a bike that’s easy to flick through traffic
Third, the suspension setup is great and with the generous ground clearance on offer, you barely slow down for speed breakers or bad roads.
