This is absolutely amazing for night boating safety. I do a lot of offshore fishing and part of my passage is thru Manhattan which is notorious for debris and floating logs. This certainly helps ands I wouldn’t mind having a high power spot light for lobster traps in the open ocean. For boating safety I highly recommend anything that makes it safer.
