Lollipops or sugar candies, are the most favorite treat for every kid. But they have a ton of sugar and artificial synthetic colors in them.
Here is a healthier option, a natural fruit lollipop. It only takes 15-20 Minutes, but it is worth it.
Jaggery is also known as super food sweetener. Nowadays, jaggery has become popular as a “Healthy “ Alternate for refined sugar.
In my opinion, it’s way better than refined sugar.

This is super easy and healthy yet yummy lollipop recipe. It needs basic ingredients you already have at home and can be made without any molds. You don’t even need candy thermometer.
Storage: you can store this individually wrapped in parchment paper/ small plastic bag for a week in a air tight container.
Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4-5 candies
Ingredients:
150g Pomegranate seeds
Water, 300ml
1/2 Cup Jaggery Powder
1/2 Tbsp Butter/Ghee (optional)
Instructions:
1. Blend pomegranate seeds in a blender.
2. Strain using a strainer, discard residual.
3. In a pan add water and Jaggery powder. Let dissolve.
4. Add butter/ghee (optional)
5. Add the pomegranate juice into the pan.
6. Keep stirring on medium low heat for 10-15 minutes.
7. We need to keep checking if the mixture is ready, for that we need a cup of cold water and we are gonna add few drops of the mixture we prepared.
8. If it’s hard, and holds its shape, then our candy mixture is ready to prepare the lollipops.
9. Quickly transfer to the mould or even on a parchment, add the stick, and let cool on room temperature.
