Confidence is high that a tropical storm will form in the southern Gulf and move towards southeast Texas. This system will bring heavy rainfall, especially for areas close to the coast. The exact track is not clear which makes it tough to know for certain how much wind to expect and placement of the heaviest rainfall. Right now, it looks like the worst of the soaking rains will happen on Monday and Tuesday.
