In this video, I will show you how I restored a vintage NordMende Galaxy mesa 6606 4.102A radio from the 1970s. This radio is a portable set that can run on both mains and batteries, and has a beautiful design with a plastic case and a metal grille. It can receive FM, MW, LW and six SW bands, and has a powerful sound output of 2.5 W. It also has some features like tone controls, light switch, antenna jack and phono input. However, this radio was in a poorly functional condition when I got it. I will show you how I cleaned, repaired and restored this radio to its original glory. You will see how I disassembled the radio, replaced the capacitors, fixed the volume control and reassembled the radio. You will also hear how the radio sounds after the restoration. I hope you enjoy this video and learn something from it. If you do, please like, share and subscribe to my channel for more restoration videos. Thank you for watching!
