This Jaguar was way too aggressive so a few months ago I had to separate him from the main tank. I put him in a temporary 30 gallon tank until I could get him a larger tank. The last few days he stopped eating and just looked bored to death. I decided to put him back in the main tank to see if I could get him eating again. Also, after a lengthy "time out" I wanted to see what his behavior would be like. The Jaguar used to be a bully to every fish in this tank. Not anymore. Within 5 minutes the Dempsey decided to let him know that this was his tank and that he would not be bullied. This is the most passive Jack Dempsey you would ever encounter. This setup is only temporary as I'm upgrading to a much bigger tank very soon.
