Queensland Premier Steven Miles outlines Labor's plans for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, saying he has "drawn the line" at $7.1 billion for the game's infrastructure program.
The two Queensland leaders are squaring off in their final debate before the state election.
"Brisbane 2032 will be fantastic but it can't be bottomless - you have to draw a line somewhere and I have drawn the line at $7.1 billion," Mr Miles said.
"I know other people want to build a new stadium or redevelop the Gabba that would cost billions more and I've said I would prefer that money to go into our schools and our road and our hospital and our cost of living relief.
"I know David wants to say people are embarrassed but I don't actually meet a lot of embarrassed people - they know Brisbane 2032 is going to be great but they also want to stick to that original budget."
