This is Redfeather from Grep Haxs in this video we will be discussing the different update
utilities in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
sure enough for advance users or those whom wish to learn you can use the terminal command sudo apt get update function
but in order to make Linux Ubuntu a more friendly user platform the software updater was developed
and then came the software centre obtaining the capability to bring updates
first we look at the software updater notice the statements of description they seem pretty interesting
and seem to point to what some might think MIT library functions that’s kinda cool
but when we look at the Ubuntu software centre things seem to appear slightly different and at first
glance one might think it looks like some type of mic support
there are some in the Linux community that have concerns with Microsoft advancing into Linux
I am not stating if this is good or bad but after researching the LP # I did notice this did relate to Microsoft in some fashion
I did install the update threw the Ubuntu software centre and then returned to the software updater to
see that all updates were installed
because of my operation it almost appeared as the software updater almost crashed but apparently
it ran a scan with a reassuring message of all software up to date
my self I am not suggesting anything and I am stuck with in my own ponder-meant as to what all this means if anything
