Didn't have the greatest success with the route I plotted but still had the most fun day out riding rental mountain bikes in sunny Fuerteventura. Hard to have a bad time when you're cycling in winter sun in the Canaries and avoiding the cold and rain back home.
The Canary Islands are quite diverse so it was fun to see a different island to the more frequently visited (for cycling) Gran Canaria and Tenerife. I reckon Fuerteventura would be good on a gravel bike - hoping to make it back there this winter to find out!
